I hear the Lord say, each day when I cannot see, "Just take one more step with Me." We are going up. The climb can be hard and wearisome but God knows where we are going.
He has always been by our side. He has never left His Bride.
And He never will.
Step 9 - Psalm 128 Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, that walks in His Ways. For you shall eat the labor of your hands; joyful shall you be, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house; your children like olive plants round about your table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the Lord. The Lord shall bless you out of Zion; and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Yes, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.
Dear Father, we are in awe of You. We know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7). May we fear nothing in this world except the fear of displeasing You. May we want to please You out of a deep reverence and love for You. Dear Jesus, You died a painful, horrendous death to take away all our sins and free us from the wages of sin which is death. Now we have eternal life and joy forevermore by Your blood covering. Help us to offer our lives to You as a living sacrifice. We thank You that as You see our hearts fully committed to the Father's Will, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live lives of Victory. Help us to teach our children the fear of the Lord and to love Your Word. Help us to love Israel and the Jewish people and to know the God of Israel. Thank You for grafting us in, all people, who call upon the Name of Jesus, our Jewish Messiah. May we humble ourselves before You that You may lift us up in due time (I Peter 5:6), one step at a time. May the God of all grace, who has called us unto His eternal glory by Messiah Jesus, after we have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us. May we be blessed out of Zion. We love You forever! Thank You that You loved us first...
