Petals, Peacocks and Pentecost (Shavuot)

In the middle of the night, May 14, 2024, I hear these words, “The flower drops her petals and produces fruit. You will produce fruit soon in the Spirit of God.”
I feel it is time to release a story that happened exactly a month ago. We had a peacock visit our home/yard…all in his brilliance and glory. We had no idea where he came from and he brought us much laughter and joy as he strutted around so calmly, several times giving us a great show of his feathers. He made hilarious noises and we named him Kevin. After asking neighbors and checking with local farmers, we found someone who would give him a good home, and who had a lady peahen to be his companion.

The evening they came to pick him up, we showed them the peacock, which at that point we had lured into the chicken coop with food. The farm hand (Travis) goes into the coop and tries to grab him but the peacock evades him the first time. The second time Travis goes after him, the peacock panics, and I kid you not, drops every one of his beautiful tail feathers that had formerly been such a glory.
The peacock was carried to his new home with his head covered with a cloth (to calm him down). He looked like the picture of shame and I felt I had somehow betrayed him. Oh God, what did I do? The peacock had experienced a shock molt. It occurs when birds go into a state of shock and are trying to escape a perceived predator or threat.
A few days later, I called the farmer to see if the peacock was okay. He said he was shy/overwhelmed at first and stayed up on a roosting post away from the peahen but then eventually he started to come closer and gain his confidence.
I feel God telling me there is a message here for his people. We’re in the time period between the dropping of the petals and the fruit, the time between the dropping of the feathers and the glory restored, greater glory. A glory not proud, not self-proclaimed, but given.
Haggai 2:9 “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former says Yahovah tsava’ot.”
I dig deeper to understand the connections. I look up the symbolic meaning of the peacock. I find Kingdom Winds website posted May 17, 2021 and will paraphrase a couple of insights. “An ancient Indo-Iranian saying “The gorgeous peacock is the glory of God.” His power to heal, His grace to forgive, His hope to Restore. Peacocks represent cherubim and seraphim. Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Revelation all talk about cherubim and seraphim. Cherubim and seraphim are special angels who carry and release the Glory of God. Peacocks represent resurrection and rebirth. Wow – the article also brings up molting. “God had allowed certain things to fall off that are no longer necessary, in order to make room for new growth.”
As I read this, Yahovah explains to me why He allowed the peacock’s feathers to fall and reminds me of what He had spoken to me a few days ago – “the flower drops her petals.”
I know He is speaking of glory. I ask Him, “Why do people exchange the glory You want to give them for something that is fake/false/profane? I hear - “Because they do not listen. They are not still to listen to Me.”
“Be still and know that I AM God.” Psalm 46:10
Just like the Gentiles, the Israelis, the Jewish people, God’s chosen people to take the message of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) to the world, also need to lose their proud tail feathers. I hear Yahovah God is calling them back home. All of this pain so they will see the true God of all creation will fight for them when the whole world abandons them. “They need to be re-captured as well so that they can be brought back HOME, HOME to Yahovah Tsava’ot (The LORD of Hosts), the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Ya’akov).” We both need to know our JEWISH Messiah Jesus, Yeshua. Those who stand with Israel in their time of trouble are also MY Bride. Two together as ONE. This is where we are.
And then I found, the feathers grow back in even greater glory. Yet here is the message. Before this second outpouring of My Spirit, there is a great need for humility first.
The former Glory without humility has led many to rebellion. Rebellion against Yahovah leads to death. Many are trying to carry a self-proclaimed glory. Glory is bestowed by Yahovah God; it is not, and it will not be taken by force.

This is the false glory (Ezekiel 28) that leads to death. Satan always has a fake and it is very easy to be deceived if you do not know the WHOLE WORD of God.
The True Glory Isaiah 30 – The God of Israel who watches over this prophetically re-born nation, a great sign that Yeshua (Jesus) is returning in the generation that sees this re-birth (Isaiah 66:8).
Humility before Yahovah God leads to true glory. The message, the latter glory is coming to those who have gone through the process of losing their proud tail feathers. The latter glory of this House of Yahovah (Tabernacle of David) will be greater than the former.
I Peter 2:5 “You are living stones and are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Yeshua the Messiah.”
I Peter 5:5-6, 10 “Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves to the older. Yes, all of you be subject to one another and be clothed with humility; for God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty Hand of God that He will exalt you in due time.”
We will either lose pride through Yahovah’s discipline and teaching willingly or He will remove them by force. Pride will not stand in the Kingdom of God. We must humble ourselves and He will lift us up in due time.
Romans 11:25, “For I would not, brothers and sisters, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits (pride); that blindness IN PART is happened to ISRAEL, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.”
“For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more; He will be very gracious unto You at the voice of your cry; when He shall hear it; He will answer you.” Isaiah 30:19
For thus says the LORD God, the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, in returning and rest shall you be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; and you would not. Isaiah 30:15
We must return to the God of Israel, and stand with Israel in her time of trouble. We must embrace true humility, even if a shock molt is necessary to fill us with His greater Glory. The tide is Rising.
